The story begins with a simple observation: in a fast-paced world, we often forget to rest.

Eric Normandeau and his team then set out to imagine accessible solutions that place rest at the heart of the workplace.

In 2018, the Recharjme effect was born with its first rest cabin, designed to promote relaxation, energy, and daily performance.

Since then, Recharjme cabins have been progressively installed in hospitals, universities, sports centers, and businesses across Quebec, New Brunswick, and Ontario.

In 2025, still driven by the mission to democratize rest at work, Recharjme introduced its second solution: the Rest Capsule.

Making work spaces empathetic and caring

Despite the frantic pace in which we live, Eric and Timothée notice that nothing is done to take a break and recharge their batteries.

Together, they decided to think about how to bring napping and resting directly into the companies, close to the employees.

In 2018, a business plan around the restroom concept is taking shape.

After many tests, iterations and questioning with HR, the concept was validated and rest cabins were installed in many hospitals and companies in Quebec and Ontario.

The two entrepreneurs contribute every day to improve the working conditions of employees, democratizing rest at work.

The MEDTEQ+ Innovation Health Summit

Recharjme was present at the 10th edition of MEDTEQ+ Innovation in Health at the Grand Quai du Port de Montréal on February 4 and 5, 2026. This is another opportunity for Recharjme to demonstrate how, through its Rest Capsules and Cabins, the power nap serves as an effective way to energize healthcare professionals while enhancing their performance and the quality of care they provide.

Recharjme was present at the 10th edition of the eMHIC25 Digital Mental Health Global Congress at the Westin Harbour Castle Toronto from November 19 to November 21, 2025.

Recharjme was present at the 2025 edition of the HR Congress and Solutions RH Expo, held on September 30 and October 1, 2025, at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. This key professional networking event gave Recharjme the opportunity to showcase its innovative and inspiring rest solutions, redefining breaks and power naps in the workplace.
